Cabello highlighted that more than 51,000 hollow cargo grenades were seized

This Tuesday, during the debate on extremist and terrorist threats against the peace and stability of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela from the National Assembly (AN), the vice-president and sector for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, detailed the impact that would be generated by the loads of hollow grenades and shrapnel that were found in Maturín, Monagas state.

Cabello, showed the hollow-load grenades, to drill tanks, which also become fragments of shrapnel and assured that “they (those involved) know what they were going to do here in Venezuela and now they say they are for oil things.”

In this sense, after explaining with graphics the seizure of 51 thousand 235 of Hollow Charges that were found in the area that “we found looking for and found hanging for explosives”.

“All the mechanisms are activated; immediately afterwards a judge called and warned that nothing was going to be done because what was going to happen there was not important... And the people who were going to die there weren't important?” , questioned and assured that the judge will be called to explain her answer.

“If what was there had exploded, the lethal shock wave of the amount that was there would have been 1,202 meters, or 1.2 km,” said the sector's vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace.

He stressed that in front of where the discovery was made is a town called San Vicente, an industrial area, the Monumental Stadium, on that side; on the other hand, the exit of Maturín, houses, Calle del Pueblo; with the shards that would have reached 1,600 meters... “Those aren't games!” , he added.
