Cabello: More than 430 points across the country were installed for the Civil Protection drill

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stressed that a Simulacrum of Civil Protection and Preparation of the People was carried out throughout Venezuela in perfect popular military police fusion for life and peace.

He explained that more than 430 points were installed across the country, where people went all day (Saturday), receiving training and instruction, to know what to do in case of emergency.

“Many of those who accepted President Nicolás Maduro's call to enlist also expressed their willingness to prepare to be able to support both natural and human-made events, such as explosions, fires, attacks,” said Cabello Rondón, during the Press Conference of the National Directorate of the PSUV.

He asserted that the People are organized in schools, in hospitals, in State agencies, in the Metro, at airports. “We are correcting, but above all we are organizing our people,” he added.

In that sense, he described the day as highly positive. “Our people are always willing to learn,” he said.

He also recognized Civil Protection and Firefighters who are always willing to share their knowledge.
