Faced with the alleged closure of the bank accounts of the American mercenary Erick Prince, who was raising funds for an armed intervention against the country, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reiterated that the extremist initiative was a scam.

Erick Prince took that money and stole it himself. We told him how many times, that he was cheating, the good thing is that now those lists are available to anyone, those who donated money that list is there, they donated money for a military intervention in Venezuela and we have what is due to us, of those who expressed their open support,” he warned.

During the usual weekly press conference of the PSUV, Cabello said that “this is not surprising about the opposition sector” and assured that the leaders of the extreme right will not assume their responsibilities in these actions.

“Since that September 16, when that 'Almost Venezuela' campaign began, selling terror to people and then no one assumes, those reais were stolen,” he emphasized.
