The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, condemned this Monday the sabotage of the National Electricity System (SEN) promoted by sectors of the extreme right in the country.

“They repeat the same script with actions like these, believing that they harm only the Chavistas and end up attacking their own people as well, which, of course, generates a rejection from a family that is in their house, whether they are oppositional, Chavista or who have no political identification (...) it is a terrorist attack that affects us all regardless of class, religion, or anything,” he said during the PSUV press conference.

In that regard, he pointed out that the attacks against the SEN are directed by “the fascist sector of Mrs. María Corina Machado and all those around her; she is directly responsible for these attacks.”

He referred to a video that circulated on social networks, in which Machado's plans to sabotage the SEN are evidenced. “She said it: We have to cut off the power and treat Venezuelans as kidnapped,” she said and stressed that fortunately there are records of their plans, just like when they have called for invasion and their participation in coups against Venezuela, despite the fact that they try to hide and erase it.
