Cabello on the far right: They're trying to hide the truth, because there are no explosives just for oil

The sectoral vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reaffirmed this Thursday that sectors of the extreme right are trying to manipulate and hide the truth by pointing out that the explosives seized are only used for the oil area.

“When you hear their explanation (from the extreme right) that they are things for oil issues, you know that they are trying to hide the truth, because there are no explosives just for oil, no, no, no,” he said from Anzoátegui state, where a warehouse was raided in which they seized a large amount of explosives of various types.

He pointed out that the investigations are carried out because an oil company knows that it cannot have more than 50 kilograms of explosives. “So when they have this large amount of explosives and they have pipe cutters, you start to pull a rope and when you review who the owners are, who is the legal advisor of the company and the links they have with the extremist sectors of La Sayona; then everything is very clear,” he said.

He also clarified the great damage that would be caused by only one of the explosives found at the site. “This one is ready, that one has everything, it's 31 kg of explosives that have an exit velocity of 9.1 km per second, that is, the shock wave of this reaches 9 km, let's imagine,” he said and pointed out that only a piece of the 911 meters of detonating cord that was found could fly a person's hand, not counting the damage to the 1,200 meters where the shards would reach after exposure.

“They are perverse, evil, they have no forgiveness from anyone, who believe that they will come to power that way. Now what you can be very clear about is that we will continue to be deployed and whoever doesn't owe it doesn't fear it. If you work with oil companies, you know that you can't have more than 50 kg of explosive, if you work with oil companies and you have explosives and you're eight years old who don't work with oil companies, here come the questions,” he said.
