The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, lamented, in the name of this political curtain, the situation in the Middle East after Israel's attack on Iran.
“We deeply regret what is happening far away from Venezuela and which is very painful; we are talking about Israel's unjustified attack on Iran. Then the answer came and we are in danger of a major global confrontation, in which the biggest victims of the war are those who have nothing to do with it,” said Cabello during the usual weekly PSUV press conference.
In this regard, he assured that respect should be the fundamental norm to guarantee coexistence in the world. “But since the world's greatest powers are those who promote disrespect and supremacy, it's very complicated,” he said.
In the same way, he hoped that “paths to peace” would be “found”, not only for the conflict between Israel and Iran, but also for Israeli Zionism to stop the massacre against the Palestinian people and return to them the land it has stolen from them.
