The first
vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV),
Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that unlike other countries here,
foreign policy is directed by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, without the intervention of imperialism.
“Those with straw
tails are told: shut up or say such a thing; they can't tell us
anything like that, they can't call President Maduro to say he should say a statement (...) because of our country's foreign policy, it is carried out by the
President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and they don't direct it from the
empire,” Cabello said during his Con El Mazo Dando program No. 498 this Wednesday.
He stressed that this is
why our country is under attack, “but that is also why we resist
and are burdened with the spirit of men and women who have fought all their lives.”
In this way, he reaffirmed
that in Venezuela there is a historic project, a country project, contemplated
in our Constitution and in our People.
