Cabello: Our People are wise and know what they have to do in the face of the aggressions of the empire

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, reaffirmed this Saturday the wisdom of the Venezuelan people who know what they must do in the face of imperialism's aggressions and siege against the Homeland of Bolívar and Chávez.

He also reaffirmed that the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, as the good son of Commander Hugo Chávez, called for the organization of the People in defense of the Homeland in the face of the aggressions of the United States, which was attended by all Venezuelans throughout the territory.

“That is why he ordered the enlistment of Venezuelans, to organize us as a People should organize itself, not only to defend the Homeland, but also the sovereignty, independence and peace of this country; and this People came massively and the people know what they should do and this people are wise, they have demonstrated it in more than 500 years of history,” he said during the Day The Barracks Go to the People from the Sucre municipality, Miranda state.

In that regard, he emphasized that after the enlistment, the People visited the barracks to receive the first instructions. At the same time, he recalled that for some time Venezuela has had more than 4 million Venezuelan militiamen who receive training for the defense of the Homeland.

“Now the barracks have to go to the people to continue; and when we talk about the barracks we also talk about dear brothers of the Armed Forces, of the police forces,” he said and stated that all Venezuelans who love Venezuela without distinction are invited to defend the Homeland.
