Cabello: President Maduro has had a firm position in defense of our Homeland

During the press conference of the National Directorate of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), the general secretary of the revolutionary tent, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted the firm stance of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, in defense of the Homeland.

“Venezuela attracts attention because it has not given up, it has been consistent, and in this world today no one respects cowards. Our President Nicolás Maduro has had a firm position in defense of our Homeland, as recognized by the entire world. Under the circumstances we have been in, he has always maintained a single position,” said Cabello.

He emphasized that Venezuela has always been consistent even in the midst of blockades, sanctions and smear campaigns. In this regard, he reiterated the political line of the PSUV and the commitment of the Venezuelan people to the defense of their sovereignty.

“We have only one line. This revolution is anti-imperialist. The People of Venezuela are anti-imperialist, including opposition sectors, whoever leads them, historically,” he said.

Cabello also mentioned the impact of media campaigns against the country and the change in international perception when visitors arrive in Venezuela.

“When people come to Venezuela, after receiving that outpouring of hate from the big media corporations and social networks against our country... people come to La Guaira and want to stay there. And when they arrive here in Caracas, it's another thing. And those who come for five days stay for 20 days, 25 days. And some have stayed here in Venezuela. They end up in love and in love with our country.”
