The Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, this Wednesday, September 17, expressed his rejection of the allegations of the extremist opposition against the rector of the University of Carabobo (UC), Jessy Divo de Romero, for her participation in the event led by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, on the occasion of the installation of the National Council for Sovereignty and Peace.
In that sense, he stated that “they are destroying the rector of the University of Carabobo, because according to them (extreme right) she went (to the act) to support the Bolivarian Revolution.”
In her Con El Mazo Dando program, broadcast number 543, Cabello argued that the rector of the aforementioned study center, Jessy Divo de Romero, “didn't talk about supporting the Bolivarian Revolution, she spoke of peace.”
“Peace is our port, for all Venezuelans,” he said.
