The sectoral vice-president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, announced that this Saturday the “Soldiers Go to the Communities” day will be held, an activity that marks the deployment of the Peace Quadrants throughout the country.
Cabello explained that this initiative represents the continuation of the civic-military activity that began last week with “The People Go to Their Barracks”.
“This Saturday the soldiers are going to the communes. This is the debut of the Peace Quadrants, fully incorporated into the activity. There comes the People, the Armed Forces complete with its Militia, with its Guard; the companions of the country's different police agencies, academies, schools, UNES headquarters, firefighters, Civil Protection... there comes 'Raimundo and the whole world' in perfect Popular, Military and Police Fusion,” he said from the state of Anzoátegui.
Cabello also referred to the call of President Nicolás Maduro, who urged the people to prepare in defense of the Homeland.
The president told us to prepare to make the transition from armed struggle to unarmed struggle. “Nobody should worry, because it is the preparation of a people who want to ensure their tranquility, their sovereignty and their independence,” he stressed.
As part of the country's comprehensive security, Cabello detailed two fundamental lines that guide this mobilization: prolonged active resistance and permanent offensive. “When they think they have reached us, we have already given them a second thought. May others be surprised, because Venezuela must remain impregnable to imperialism and its internal allies,” he said.
He reiterated the president's call to those who advocate foreign intervention: “That they call, that they take to the streets, to show their faces. Here we are, the ones who are going to defend the homeland. Power for the people. As long as the People are in power, the People know what they have to do.”
