The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, described the United Nations (UN) as “incapable” because it is “complicit in silence” in the face of the genocide carried out against the Palestinian people by the Zionist government of Israel.

During the Con El Mazo Dando program number 534, he questioned the role of the UN and pointed out that this institution is subordinate to U.S. interests.

“The UN doesn't exist, these bodies really bring shame and shame. They are unable to talk about it (genocide in Gaza),” he reproached.

He criticized the recent meeting between the President of the United States, Donald Trump, and the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, considering that this meeting does not provide solutions.

“Can anyone think that something good came out of that meeting? Could something good for the world have come from there?” , he asked.

He presented alarming figures on the deaths of women and children in war zones, noting that “more than 30,000 children and women have already been killed, and the UN says nothing, cannot say anything.”

He said that the lack of action and pronouncements on the part of the organization's secretary general, António Guterres, is due to the fact that “the United States is the one who pays UN salaries (...) What is that Human Rights Commission going to be saying, if the gringos are paying them?”

“It won't be long before Netanyahu is the one to be given the peace prize,” he ironized.
