During the press conference of the National Directorate of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón highlighted the importance of the militia training days that take place on weekends throughout the country.
“There was already a day on Saturdays for militia training; when the president called him, after the first day that became National in the face of attacks, siege and aggressions, the president told the barracks, the second week he told the soldiers and police forces to the communities,” said Cabello.
In this regard, he assured that different objectives were achieved to collaborate in the different areas necessary for the defense of the Homeland.
“What happened on Saturday served to carry out a simulation of preparing for civil protection, and preparing the People in perfect civic-military-police fusion,” he said, adding that “there is a perfect plan for our party for preparation and information and that is where the brothers of the Great Patriotic Pole are incorporated.”
On the mockery that fascism makes against courageous women who are preparing to defend the nation, Cabello stressed: “Let them make fun of our militia, but we have seen them, without referring to another country; for example, there on the coast of Aragua, the fishermen grabbed mercenaries,” he added.
“They watch a lot of movies and based on those films, they create the term of fantasies and illusions of believing things beyond what is possible; we are human beings, it is likely that others have planes and tanks, ships, but one thing I can assure you that I don't think they have the morality and dignity of the Venezuelan people,” he said.
In context, the general secretary of the PSUV assured that we are moving forward and “no one stands in our way. Do the companions of Sucre think they stopped and stopped training? No, they were trained on a device that doesn't fail.”
