The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stressed the importance of preparing to guarantee the armed defense of sovereignty and peace in the face of warlike threats from the United States (USA).
“We are obliged in the face of threats from imperialism and its allies to prepare for a transition from unarmed struggle to armed struggle, aware of two fundamental concepts: the first prolonged active resistance and the second permanent offensive,” he said.

During his Con El Mazo Dando program on broadcast 543, he reiterated his condemnation of the deployment of U.S. military forces in the Caribbean, which he remarked is an aggression against Venezuela and the Peoples of Latin America.
“There is aggression against our Homeland, and there is a siege against the People of Venezuela, and with the People of Venezuela they besiege other Peoples. For example, fishing people all over the Caribbean are being threatened with death; any fisherman from any island, from any country that leaves, does not know if they are being bombed, it's a death sentence!” , he noted.
He insisted on the importance of patriotic unity as the main strength for the country's defense, and highlighted the position taken by an opposition sector.

“There are people in the opposition who have taken very courageous positions. The recognition of Reinaldo Cifuentes, that an opponent says that in Venezuela is unprecedented because anyone hides in the face of events like these,” he stressed while lambasting those who are hiding so as not to take a stand.
“They are not consistent. Where was (Henrique) Capriles? Why wasn't Capriles there yesterday? Where was (Manuel) Rosales? Then later they wonder why (Alberto) Galíndez brought him a brunette, or why did Bernabé Gutiérrez bring him a brunette? And why does (José) Brito walk them around and hesitate to everyone? Because they go, show their faces and state their point of view. Nobody was told there, look you have to stand here and you're going to say this, no, no, they spoke what they wanted, free of charge, and we're taking a step forward for the sovereignty and peace of this country,” he said, referring to the installation of the National Council for Sovereignty and Peace attended by all the social, economic and political sectors of the nation.
When the Argentine people rise up..!

Cabello referred to the current situation in Argentina after the electoral defeat of the extreme right-wing Javier Milei and did not hesitate to warn about the integrity of the people of the southern nation to defend their right to life and the hope that they intend to erase by the current government.
“I was watching a statement from a fascist minister who governs Argentina, he said, referring to women: What are they going to university for? You have to be at home, cooking, washing, ironing, at this point a minister, the guy was young, but he's a dinosaur, I mean, he was young, what's his name? , physically, but the guy is a dinosaur. Now, when that people rise up, oh dear God, there will be no stone left that they will remove, then they will blame us”, he warned.

He warned about how the ultra-right governments in Argentina and Ecuador are promoting neoliberal policies that will destroy these countries and benefit the oligarchies.
“Spain reported its largest seizure of cocaine, 13 tons in a single shipment, hidden in bananas, coming from the port of Guayaquil, Ecuador. Who governs Ecuador? Daniel Noboa And who has fruit exporting companies? Daniel Noboa Who controls the ports? Daniel Noboa And who controls drugs? Daniel Noboa, but we are the culprits,” he said.
Venezuela: a great moral power!

The also sectoral vice-president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace responded to the ridicule that sectors of opposition extremism are being promoted against the Venezuelan People and their Armed Forces in order to demoralize Venezuelans.
Who said that Venezuela has a National Armed Force equal to that of the United States? Who said we have more than 300 million inhabitants? Who said we have the aviation that they have? No, no, we don't have that, but if I tell you that in Venezuela there is great strength, but I am talking about morality, about the dignity of a people,” he emphasized.

He stressed that, unlike other countries, Venezuela can afford to state its strategy of defending the Homeland in the face of war threats from US imperialism.
“Our strategy, we can afford to say it; our strategy is prolonged active resistance, prolonged active resistance, permanent offensive and then I can tell you the one who understood, understood, even Vietnam did not have the same military strength as the United States,” he said.
The United States should treat its addicts!

Regarding the US military deployment in the Caribbean, he pointed out that it is estimated to cost no less than 10 million dollars per day.
“Why doesn't the United States invest in serving its people?” , questioned while detailing that this amount could be used to treat the hundreds of thousands of synthetic drug addicts that exist in the North American nation.
“As of today, 32 days have passed, which implies an expense of 320 million dollars. With that amount, 68,64 treatments for people with addiction could be financed, at an average cost of 4,700 dollars per patient per year. You could buy 7 million 104 thousand naloxone ( antidote to fentanyl) kits, each with two doses, at an average price of $45 per kit. You could pay for 105,000 treatments, which is the number of people who die each year from overdoses. With what has been spent so far, 67,200 of these treatments would be paid for,” he said.
María Corina wants to leave!

Finally, the Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, after revealing the location of the place where the extremist María Corina Machado is “hiding”, revealed that this promoter of terrorist and criminal actions against Venezuelans “is desperate to escape.”
“By the way, the crazy woman is crammed up in Valle Arriba in a big, big house, which they say there is no one, but there is, she's there and she's crazy because she wants to leave, because they've already assured her of her golden exile, with what she stole, and the money from drug trafficking that she hasn't distributed, she's like crazy who wants to leave the country, desperate,” he reported.
