Cabello: We have comprehensive security officers

The sectoral vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that tirelessly work is being done to guarantee peace in the country.

“We don't rest because this is what we like; we have comprehensive security colleagues, you call them at two in the morning and everyone answers (...) when the president calls us it's because the issue of security is not just the National Government, nothing else, the issue of security belongs to all the authorities,” Cabello said during a press conference.

He stressed that 2025 “is the crucial year against drug trafficking gangs and criminal gangs” while ensuring that the Venezuelan people want peace in the country.

He added that 15 main people involved in terrorist actions against the nation have been captured.

“We have 15 main people captured, but we have a group of people, for example, the SEBIN carried out a search and found material that makes us think that they are part of these cells, what they have called clandestine cells,” he said.
