The Sectorial Vice President for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stressed that in Venezuela the Bolivarian Government has seized 64 tons of drugs and has not bombed or killed anyone.

During the Congress Drug Use and Juvenile Delinquency: Justice with a Human Face, from the headquarters of the Supreme Court of Justice, Cabello Rondón stressed that in the fight against drugs, the Bolivarian Government has even arrested public officials.

“One says it self-critically, police officers, prosecutors, even mayors have been arrested, because drug traffickers set up a power structure and need land control to move drugs in freer ways,” he said.

He explained that to move drugs from one place to another, they needed to fill up with fuel, which is where the participation of even mayors came in, who received income “for going crazy” and letting them travel freely.

“They know that here, through Venezuela, they will not pass through and drug trafficking has been forcefully given to,” he said.
