The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that without a doubt Fabricio Ojeda is a martyr of the Bolivarian and Latin American Revolution.
During his Con El Mazo Dando #533 program, Cabello invited us to read Fabricio Ojeda's letter when he resigned from the extinct National Congress to go to Los Andes to join a guerrilla movement, “it's something extraordinary at the political level, whoever hasn't read it should read it.”
“After Simón Bolívar and Ezequiel Zamora, the other one who spoke again about civic-military union in Venezuela was Fabricio Ojeda, until Commander Hugo Chávez arrived,” he recalled.
He also asserted that Ojeda left some writings on the need for national civic union to move the country forward.
“Ojeda and Ernesto “Che” Guevara are the only foreigners to whom they have given military high command in the Cuban Revolution,” he added.
