In order to consolidate the unity of all sectors of society, this Friday, September 26, the State Council for Peace and Sovereignty - Carabobo chapter, an activity promoted by the National Assembly (AN), was installed to strengthen a position of comprehensive defense of the nation against any foreign aggression.
The activity was chaired by the first vice-president of the AN, deputy Pedro Infante, who pointed out that this initiative seeks to articulate the work of all political, civil, military, academic, labor, business and religious forces in order to preserve peace and guarantee independence.
“All the living forces that make up this state come together to continue to lift up this spirit of homeland and the right we have to live in peace to maintain the pace of national development, to build a system of prosperity for our people,” he said.
For his part, the governor of the state of Carabobo, Rafael Lacava, indicated that the population has demonstrated an important level of seriousness in the face of the current context of aggression by the United States government and driven by sectors that are increasingly left alone.
“I can say that I am shocked by the cardinal clarity about everything that is happening on the part of the Venezuelan people, since they are aware of the aggression and manipulation of information by imperialism to seize our wealth,” he said.
In this regard, he emphasized that “ordinary people continue to combat these threats, since no one wants to give up a single millimeter of our territory and will never negotiate their independence, so we have united in a single agenda, which is based on peace, coexistence and complementarity.”
This council will form its diplomatic, legal and communication commissions, which will be the basis for guiding all actions to be taken for the development of this body hand in hand with the population.
For now, this instance has been installed in 15 states of the national territory, a measure that falls within the lines framed in the Plan of the Seven Transformations promoted by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, with the objective of strengthening national unity with values of self-determination and sovereignty.
