Venezuela's Carabobo FC beat Brazil's Red Bull Bragantino 1-0 in their group stage debut of the 2026 Copa Sudamericana.

In the match played at the Misael Delgado stadium, in Valencia, the maroon team went up in the 9th minute of the match with a header from Ezequiel Neira at the start of a corner.

In the second half, Carabobo controlled the match even though the Brazilian team had the ball and failed to score.

Carabobo FC joined the good performance of the Venezuelan clubs in the continental cups, which ended with three wins and two draws between Copa Libertadores and Sudamercana.
