Carabobo men's and women's handball teams, champions of the National Cadet Championship in Lara

The men's and women's handball teams from Carabobo state won the title in the National Cadet Championship that took place at the Los Horcones Indoor Gym in the city of Barquisimeto, Lara.

Both teams won the title after beating the teams from the state of Lara in their respective finals, according to the Ministry of Sports press.

In the women's final, Carabobo defeated Lara 37-27 by a scoreboard. While in men, the match was defined by the minimum difference of 40-39 over the twilight ones.

The podium was completed by the Yaracuy team who finished third in the women's category, after beating Miranda 29-16.

Meanwhile, Guárico did the same for men and won the third after defeating 34-31, also the selection of My Randa.
