Cardenales de Lara won the key match this January 24 at the Guatamare Stadium, home of Bravos de Margarita, 12 races by 9, and is only one win away from becoming champion of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) in the 2024-2025 season.

In an alternative game on the scoreboard, the so-called lucky seventh inning, Gokys Hernández pushed the 8-8 tie with a high sacrifice, but José Rondón sentenced the game by taking it out of the park with two on base and placing his team Lara in the lead by three (11-8).

With this result, the twilight will be looking in their backyard to get a new crown for the Venezuelan professional baseball entity from Larense, while the players will have to turn the page and win the remaining two games to achieve their first title in the LVBP.
