Carnival Cry kicked off celebrations in honor of King Momo in Anzoátegui

In the Guanta municipality of the state of Anzoátegui, the traditional cry of Carnival 2025 took place to kick off the festivities in honor of King Momo.

The activity included a trip from the Chorrerón sector to Plaza Miranda, culminating in a massive rally at the renovated Jesús Rizales stadium, regional press reported.

During the tour, a water bath with a cistern characterized the party, and more than 20 entrepreneurs from the state offered their services and products. The governor of the state of Anzoátegui, Luis José Marcano, specified that this is the start of “the best carnivals in Venezuela”.
