Chancellor Gil accompanies the celebration of the Day of the Republic of India in Caracas

The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil, accompanied in Caracas the celebration of the Day of the Republic of India, which commemorates the adoption of the Constitution of 1950.
“India's Republic Day, celebrated on January 26, commemorates the adoption of the Constitution in 1950, a milestone that marked the country's transformation into a sovereign and democratic republic,” Gil recalled through his Telegram channel.
In this regard, on behalf of the Bolivarian Government, headed by President Nicolás Maduro, he extended “a fraternal embrace to the people of India and we enthusiastically join their celebration”.
During his participation in the activity, the Foreign Minister congratulated “the respected ambassador Ashok Babu and the distinguished diplomatic team” accredited in Venezuela for this significant celebration of the Asian country, while ratifying the political will of the Bolivarian Government to strengthen bilateral and multilateral relations.
