The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, reaffirmed this Tuesday that, despite the attacks of imperialism, Venezuela will continue to advance to consolidate the country 's economic stability and promote true Latin American union.

“We have begun a process of recovery that is progressing rapidly, we still have a long way to go, but we have already managed to stabilize the main economic, social and political variables of our country (...) We are going to continue investing in social and economic development, we are going to continue promoting an inclusive model for all Venezuelans and we are going to continue to promote a true union in Latin America, which is the only way to overcome the blockade, sanctions and aggressions, in peace,” he said during his Meeting with the Diplomatic Corps Accredited in Venezuela.

In this regard, he emphasized that today, when we are facing a serious conjuncture in the world order, Venezuela stands as the “country in Latin America with the greatest political stability, with the greatest social stability and with the greatest prospects for economic growth in our region.”

He pointed out that the desperation of North American imperialism to destabilize countries like ours is because of that new world order that is being born. “There are fears in imperialism that this world order will finish consolidating, which is an unstoppable path because this new order that is being born will not be stopped by this type of action, but we have the voice and the moral to say it and to announce it to the world,” he said.

He pointed out that in this scenario “it will not be the peoples who will be defeated, it will not be the peoples of Latin America that will be defeated, what can happen is a great uprising in Latin America that will finish accelerating the changes necessary to consolidate peace and stability at the international level.”

He reaffirmed that “it is time to stop this barbarism”; and noted that Venezuela is prepared to continue resisting attacks. “They are not going to get us out of there, we are going to continue on the path of growth,” he said.
