Chancellor Gil: We will not allow any interventionist action by the Government of Spain!

“ We will not allow any interventionist action by the Government of Spain in matters that fall within the exclusive competence of Venezuelans,” said the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, after holding a meeting with the Spanish ambassador to Venezuela, Ramón Santos.

Through his Telegram channel, Gil reaffirmed that during the meeting he made clear to the Spanish ambassador in Venezuela the strong position of the Bolivarian Government in the face of the interventionist actions of the Spanish Congress.

He also assured that in the face of these actions by foreign governments, “Venezuela will adopt the necessary measures, within the framework of international law and Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy, to protect its sovereignty.”
