“Our science workers toured part of the Siapo River with educational equipment and implements, so that our girls, boys and young people can approach the fascinating world of science,” Jiménez explained through his Telegram channel.
He commented that this new space aims to “awaken curiosity and interest in generating relief and training them for the future”, as stated in the objectives and vertices of the Great Mission Science, Technology and Innovation Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán, created by President Nicolás Maduro.
“In the Amazonian municipalities of Atabapo, Atures, Autana, as well as throughout the country, modernized spaces have been created for the scientific and technological training of boys and girls, with the help of trained teachers,” added the minister.
In the same publication, photographs and videos of teachers were also released, who thanked the policies led by the head of state.
The installation of science classrooms throughout the territory aims at training and socialization for primary and secondary school students, to encourage young people to study science from an early age.
