Civil Protection attended to river overflows in Lara

Civil Protection and Disaster Management dealt with cases of river overflows, which occurred in the municipality of Urdaneta (Siquisique) in Lara state, according to the agency's state director, Luis Mujica.

He pointed out that “the recent rains caused the Baragua and Tocuyo rivers to overflow, for this reason we have maintained ourselves with military and civil agencies of the state and national governments, dealing with cases.”

According to the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), the authorities are working to rehabilitate spaces, remove debris and sediment from affected streets in Siquisique, as reported by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN).

He added that for other cases of emergencies, the Civil Protection telephone numbers 0251-2544889 and 2543965 are available. Also, Ven911 as a national emergency line.
