As part of the national day “Los Cuartes go to the People”, the popular-military-police fusion was consolidated in the communities located in the Lídice parish of Caracas, as an expression of co-responsibility in the comprehensive defense of the nation, reported Javier Marcano Tábata, general commander of the Presidential Honor Guard.

Marcano Tábata highlighted the historic nature of the encounter between the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and organized communities.

“It is with great joy that we are in the Comuna Fuerza Obrera, carrying out the order of our commander in chief. The FANB goes to its town, it goes to the community, it goes to the circuits. For us, soldiers of the Presidential Honor Guard, this is a historic moment that allows us to go deep into our town and say: here we are, brother, sister, like just another soldier,” said Marcano Tábata.

He emphasized that the Bolivarian Revolution empowered the people, giving them the tools to defend the Constitution in all spheres and territories. In this sense, he evoked the emancipatory deeds of Venezuelan history as a background to current national unity.

“Unity has always invoked the Liberator. Today, this union is a reality: the union of national identity and unity to face any threat,” he said.
