In the state of Táchira, organized communities went to their voting centers this Sunday to choose the priority projects for the fourth National Popular Consultation 2025, a process that the inhabitants described as fundamental to meeting the real needs of each territory.
From the early hours, neighbors focused on the points enabled to exercise their vote in an environment of camaraderie and organization.
Community spokespersons emphasized that this opportunity to directly decide which projects to implement responds to the model of participatory democracy that has allowed concrete advances in communities.
“We are waiting in line to choose our highest priority project. We believe in this process because we have seen that the projects are being implemented,” said the inhabitants during the day.
The participants recalled that in previous consultations, significant results were achieved, such as the recovery of schools and high schools in the town of Barranca. They mentioned, among other works, the installation of asphalt in various communities, works carried out directly by the People's Power and the communal councils.
“We are consolidating our dreams because we are building the community we want,” said the spokespersons, who agreed that constant participation every three months has made it possible to improve services, infrastructure and living conditions in the territory.
