Comprehensive Health Care Day benefited more than 300 Older Adults in Yaracuy

More than 300 elderly people from different sectors belonging to the San Felipe El Fuerte Commune attended a health day held at the Zumuco Roofed Court in Yaracuy state.
During the activity, medical services such as general consultation, ophthalmology, blood pressure control, immunization and delivery of medicines were offered at no cost. In addition, aesthetic assistance was provided through the program “A Little Touch of Love Me Gusta!” , with hairdressing, facial care and massage services for women, and a full barber shop for men.
Mayor Rogger Daza shared with the attendees, spoke with them and expressed his satisfaction with the holding of this day, in which local authorities also participated.
According to the press of the Government of Yaracuy, the initiative was used to recognize the support of President Nicolás Maduro for the creation of the Ministry of Popular Power for Older Adults, and Governor Leonardo Intoci for contributing to the improvement of the quality of life of this population sector.
