Comprehensive health day benefited more than 600 Aragüeans

More than 600 inhabitants of the community of Sponsorship in the Lamas municipality of the state of Aragua were treated with a comprehensive health day where they received free and specialized medical care.

According to a press release, residents had the opportunity to receive care in areas such as general medicine, ophthalmology, optometry, internal medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, nutrition, dentistry, obstetrics, gynecology, traumatology, podiatry and gastroenterology.

In addition to medical visits, complementary services such as blood pressure and blood glucose screening, weight and height control, immunization and medication delivery were provided.

Maternal kits and contraceptive methods were also provided. The day included house-to-house medical visits, ultrasound, and family planning and deworming programs. In addition, specialized care was provided for people with disabilities, ensuring that all sectors of the community received the necessary support.
