This Saturday, the National Telecommunications Commission (CONATEL) provided comprehensive technical support to public and private operators during a detailed inspection carried out on the Infrastructure Network of the state of La Guaira, as detailed by Venezolana de Televisión through its web portal

The institutional deployment was carried out with the purpose of monitoring the progress of the security tables articulated with the different State agencies and coordinating the progressive restoration of connectivity services affected by the earthquakes of last June 24.

The field evaluation tour was led by the general director of Conatel, Enrique José Quintana Sifontes, together with the vice-president of Technology and Infrastructure of CANTV, Marilyn Colmenarez.

In addition, the technical conference was directly attended by the president of Digitel, Luis Bernardo Pérez; the president of Movilnet, Aníbal Briceño; and the vice-president of Movistar, Humberto Aranda, consolidating a unified block of sectoral action.

As explained by the authorities, the technical and institutional security desk has focused on immediately guaranteeing all the logistics required for the optimal performance of engineering crews in the affected areas.

This includes the issuance of safes for the free movement of personnel, the protection in maneuvering areas, the priority supply of fuel for emergency power plants and the establishment of a local material collection center.

“Reflection is towards unity. It's not an operator, it's not about the regulator; it's the unity of the sector that will give us the victory to promptly restore services,” Quintana emphasized, highlighting the articulation achieved in the coastal region.

Finally, the head of the governing body recognized the strategic support of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and the National Electric Corporation (Corpoelec) to achieve the definitive success of technological operations.
