The deputy
to the National Assembly (AN) Tania Díaz
strongly condemned the recent attempts at destabilization, calling them
“criminals, fascists and terrorists”, and denounced that these plans have been
promoted and financed by external actors with the objective of undermining Venezuelan democracy.
“You don't
conquer a nation with weapons alone, you want to defeat its soul, and the
national soul of Venezuela is indestructible,” Díaz emphasized when he
presented this Wednesday to
the AN the Draft Agreement in support of sovereignty, the protection of the territory, Venezuelan institutions and
peace, in accordance with Article 111 of the Internal Regulations and Debates.
Díaz urged all deputies
- including those from the opposition - to assume their historical responsibility and join
a diplomatic and parliamentary offensive that would make it possible to dismantle the international narrative against Venezuela.
“This is not a time for calculations or
reckoning. It's time to work for the country, to talk to allies, to political
parties, and to show the truth about Venezuela to the world,” he said.
Finally,
the deputy proposed the creation of a Parliamentary Front for Venezuela,
a plural platform that articulates legislative efforts in defense of the
sovereignty, peace and rights of the Venezuelan people. “This front will be a
conjunction of loves, a portion of humanity that stands up for our
country,” he concluded.
