Congresswoman Marifred Rodríguez: The Venezuelan people profoundly defend peace as their biggest flag

The deputy to the National Assembly for the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV). Marifred Rodríguez Mendoza affirmed that a young generation, as a people, is increasingly willing to continue “meeting again, building bridges for dialogue, for that fraternal encounter”.

“We are a difficult people for other countries to decipher, and North American imperialism itself has a hard time understanding what Venezuelans are like. Venezuela is tireless,” said Rodríguez, during his participation in the program Sin Truco Ni Maña, led by the representative Tania Díaz.

He emphasized that the national tricolor has no political or ideological overtones and today there is a great national consensus on Peace, “the Venezuelan people profoundly defend peace as their greatest flag” above all circumstances.

“The truth is not what is transmitted on the big platforms behind large corporations, launching any kind of thing through social networks. The concrete truth is that Venezuelans are going to defend love, peace, justice and tolerance above any scenario or message of hate that can be transmitted by the increasingly smaller violent sectors in the country,” he said.

He insisted that Venezuela does not experience the virtual reality that is transmitted through social networks, here there is a people who struggle, that works and that also loves their roots, their home and that sees their country as their greatest treasure.

“Our struggle today is profoundly loving, to live in peace, in joy, in tranquility and with a lot of hope for the future,” he added.
