During the broadcast of the program Sin Truco
Ni Maña, the deputy to the National Assembly Tania Díaz emphasized that
Venezuela is currently facing a scenario of war threat from
the United States, which deals with a communicational, psychological and cognitive war, typical of
the new times, in which information is diffused and manipulated.
The Deputy highlighted the resistance of the
Cuban people to the aggressions of the North American empire. “Cuba has been a beacon
of dignity in the face of the abuse of power, the neocolonial intention and the
Venezuelan people thank them for all their support in terms of health, education and work
with the elderly,” said Díaz.
For her part, Caridad Meyvis Estévez, a member of the Communist Party of Cuba, who was invited to the program, asserted that at a time when tensions and threats increase in the Latin American region,
it is when we must be most united and articulated.
“Being here in Venezuela is a sign of the commitment of the
brotherhood that unites us with this people. Both countries have the
same enemy. We have 60 years with an economic and commercial blockade imposed
by imperialism and the new generations are the most affected,” he said.
Meanwhile, Osnay Colina Rodríguez, a member of the Central
Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, asserted that if
history is reviewed, the empire has always sought justification, pretext and artifice to attack peoples.
“It is important to demonstrate to the world reliably how the Venezuelan people live, with what happiness, with what color, with what tranquility,” he added.
He insisted that it is very good in history to try to show the danger that our peoples face and highlighted the preparation that Venezuelans have in the popular, military and police fusion. “He decided to join the military and train, it's because he appreciates history and knows that the danger is present. Nobody can take us by surprise, we have paid dearly for naivety,” he said.
