A flight from China arrived Monday night at Simon Bolivar International Airport in Maiquetía, Ramón Celestino Velásquez Araguayán, said the director of the air terminal and Minister of People's Power for Transportation.
Through a message posted on his Instagram account, he indicated that the flight is part of the route inaugurated in June of this year, as part of the celebrations for 50 years of diplomatic relations between Venezuela and the People's Republic of China.
“It's an excellent opportunity for transporting cargo and passengers. Our Venezuelan flag carrier, Conviasa, continues to proudly soar the world's skies. “We're still winning!” , said the senior official.
The frequency of this route is estimated for a weekly flight. Passengers flying from Venezuela to China can carry a 23-kilo suitcase in the hold and an 8-kilo hand bag. In addition, this new route represents Conviasa's 15th international destination.
