The National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) carried out corrective maintenance work on distribution networks of the El Socorro circuit, located in the municipality of Valencia in the state of Carabobo, which directly benefited more than 2,500 families.

The intervention included clearing 300 meters of vegetation in sensitive areas, especially in sectors 1, 2 and 3 of the La Florida community, Miguel Peña parish, according to the Ministry of Popular Power for Electric Energy (MPPEE), on its website.

Also, critical equipment replacements were made in other parts of the city, specifically in the Villa Dorada Bolivarian Camp and in the Próceres de la Patria Community. Two 75 kVA transformers were installed, in favor of more than 150 Valencian homes with substantial improvements in electrical energy distribution.

It highlights that these works respond to policies to strengthen the National Electricity System (SEN), aimed at optimizing the operation of local circuits, reducing operational risks and ensuring service in areas of high population density.

CORPOELEC supports a planned intervention scheme to reinforce supply stability in the state.

The execution was carried out by specialized technical crews, through which procedures for plant control and renewal of electrical components were applied in prioritized areas.

The tasks included load assessment, network verification and distribution adjustments, with the objective of increasing system reliability.
