As part of the maintenance plan for electrical substations, the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) carried out preventive and corrective maintenance work on the Ocumare II 125/13.8 kV substation, with the objective of strengthening the energy supply in the Tomás Lander municipality of Miranda state.

The technical and operational maneuvers, as reported by CORPOELEC, included the assembly of lightning rods, the connection to the line outputs and the adaptation of the drive control system to transfer disconnectors linked to the D505 and D605 circuits.

In addition, mechanical work was carried out on the gantry for the installation of the drive control, ground recovery in circuits associated with the 13.8 kV gantry, maintenance of the D503 and D603 disconnectors, cleaning of insulators and lubrication of control mechanisms.
