With the installation and adaptation of 1,995 luminaires in streets, avenues and highways in the state of Miranda, the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) is making progress with the Expressway Lighting Plan.

According to a press release from CORPOELEC, 100, 150 and 200 watt LED equipment was installed on the Barlovento, Valles de Tuy and Guarenas-Guatire axes, to provide better and greater projection of white light.

The Corporation's operators replaced sodium vapor lamps with more advanced technology, as well as control boxes and wiring, actions that optimize the lighting system.
