CORPOELEC helped more than 4,000 Portuguese families with the installation of transformers

With the objective of strengthening the electricity supply, the National Electricity Corporation (CORPOELEC) installed 67 new transformers in 11 municipalities in the Portuguese state, benefiting 4,960 families.
The equipment, with capacities of 25, 37.5, 50 and 100 kVA, makes it possible to optimize the distribution of electrical energy in the municipalities of Páez, Araure, Ospina, San Rafael de Onota, Sucre, Guanare, Guanarito, Papelón, Esteller, Turén and San Genaro de Boconoíto, responding directly to community requests.
Additionally, according to a press release from CORPOELEC, the technical staff adapted low and medium voltage networks by replacing lightning rods, power cutters, fuses and other essential components, ensuring the proper functioning of the equipment and the stability of the service.
Among the communities served are El Carmelo, December 5, Barrio Nuevo, Villa Nueva, Paraguay, Choro Gonzalero, Nuevas Brisas, Liceta, La Pastorita, Los Merecures, Barrio Abajo, Las Marías, Bumbí, Paramito, Banco Obrero, Campo Lindo, Guasimal, Morichal, Eucalipto, April 19, El Cerrito, Sabana de Pionío, Los Rurales, Córdoba, Papayito, Santa Lucía del Llano, Sabana Verde and Conchita.
