CORPOELEC performed preventive maintenance on electrical substations in Táchira

The workers of the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) carried out weeding work in four substations located in the municipalities of Samuel Darío Maldonado, Uribante and Torbes in the state of Táchira, benefiting more than 93,000 inhabitants of this entity.

The preventive tasks, as reported by CORPOELEC in a press release, included the removal of vegetation in operational, perimeter and firewall areas of the Pregonero 34.5/13.8 kV and San Agatón 34.5/13.8 kV substations in the municipality of Uribante, as well as of El Corozo 230/115/34.5/13.8 kV, in the municipality of Torbes, to strengthen their operation.

In addition, the technical staff serviced the Boconó 34.5/13.8 kV substation, the Boconó Regulatory Bank 13.8 kV and the Boconó 34.5/13.8 kV generation plant, in the Samuel Darío Maldonado municipality, in the north of the state of Táchira.

These actions are part of the vegetation control plans that CORPOELEC is implementing throughout the country, with the purpose of repowering electrical equipment that allows the generation and distribution of energy services.
