CORPOELEC rehabilitated a subtransmission line affected by the fall of a tree in Trujillo

The National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) carried out the rehabilitation of the 34.5 kV Valera — La Puerta — Jajó — Timotes subtransmission line, in Trujillo state, which was affected when a large pine tree fell.

These tasks benefit users in the Los Cerrillos, La Puerta, Valera alta, Valerita, Carorita, El Horno, Jajó, Tuñame and surrounding areas, positively impacting more than 25,000 inhabitants.

According to a press release from CORPOELEC, crews made up of more than 20 workers cleared the tree between the 78-79 section, installed conductors, retained lines, changed elements and carried out corrective maintenance of the electrical infrastructure.

The state power company seeks to optimize energy distribution and ensure that communities in the region have a continuous and stable electricity supply.
