CORPOELEC served more than 915,000 people from Apurea with preventive maintenance in substations

As part of the 2025 Annual Maintenance Plan, workers from the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) carried out preventive maintenance on the San Fernando I and II, Achaguas, Mantecal, Elorza and Gorrín substations, with the objective of serving more than 915,000 inhabitants of the Apure state.
The maneuvers, according to a press release from CORPOELEC, focused on cleaning and adjusting current terminals in the switches, as well as on local opening and closing tests, reviewing primary and secondary protection records, lubricating moving parts and adjusting screws.
These tasks have a positive impact on the communities served through the Avenida Fuerza Armada, Paseo Libertador, 12 de Octubre, Calle Diana e Independencia, Barrio Campo Alegre, Rómulo Gallegos, El Gran Samaritano, Santa Juana, La Guamita, La Estrellita, Intercommunal Biruaca, La Hidalguía, La Odisea, Luis Herrera, Pantanal, Parque de Feria and La Trinidad.
