CORPOELEC weeds 17 electrical installations in Zulia

The National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC), through the Pica and Poda Plan, weeded 17 electrical installations in the state of Zulia.

The weeding of 93 hectares was carried out in order to guarantee the operation of the 17 electrical installations in the state of Zulia distributed along the western and eastern shores of Lake Maracaibo, according to a press release from the state power company.

“These actions, which also contribute to the Electrical Installations Maintenance Plan,” reads the Corpoelec statement, “included the attention of 14 substations and three generation plants located in the municipalities of Maracaibo, Colón, Lagunillas, La Cañada de Urdaneta, Baralt, Valmore Rodríguez and Cabimas,” the press release states.

These tasks are aimed at ensuring the operability of the National Electricity System (SEN) to contribute efficiently to the continuity of electricity service in the Zulian entity.
