Cyclist Fabiana Candelas won a place in Asu2025 in road specialty

The cyclist from Tachirense Fabiana Candelas won the first place for Venezuela in the road cycling event of the Asunción 2025 Junior Pan American Games.

In the Pan-American Championship of the specialty that is being held in Uruguay, Candelas, with a time of 42:23.13, ranked among the seven best athletes in the under-23 category.

Candelas crossed the finish line as the sixth best under-23 representative in the final of the elite women's time trial during the event. “The test was very tough, I didn't have very good feelings, but I keep expecting everything that's coming,” she said, quoted by the sports press.
