The Great Mission of Venezuela Women held the 49th day at the Los Samanes hospital where care
was provided to a total of 11,548 women, including 2,000 pregnant women, older adults, girls, adolescents and young people from the state of Aragua.

The governor of the entity, Karina Carpio, reaffirmed her support for these initiatives in line with the guidelines of President Nicolás Maduro.

The day included the deployment of seven care vertices: health, educational missions, Misión Nevado, Misión José Gregorio Hernández and other complementary programs that strengthen the objective of the Great Mission. In particular, emphasis was placed on vertex 4, aimed at offering protection to women victims of violence, providing legal advice and guidance. In addition, cultural and ecosocial issues were addressed with the objective of promoting a more equitable and conscious society.

For her part, Dr. Egle López highlighted the importance of this comprehensive program that seeks to meet the specific needs of women at various stages of their lives.

Isaurys Celis, responsible for the Humanized Childbirth and Breastfeeding plan, expressed his gratitude to President Nicolás Maduro and Minister Johanna Carrillo for making this day possible, which not only benefits women workers but also community leaders. “Today we feel cared for and recognized,” said Celis.

For her part, Rosalba Ramírez of the Blessings of Heaven Foundation shared her joy to see that grandparents and grandmothers also received attention during this day, thus highlighting the comprehensive approach of the event, according to a press release from the Government of Aragua.
