Delcy Rodríguez highlights the success of XVIII CIAN Venezuela-Russia: It has been a victory for our countries

The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, highlighted this Thursday the success of the XVIII Meeting of the Venezuela-Russia High-Level Intergovernmental Commission (CIAN), with the signing of 17 cooperation agreements in various strategic areas.
From the Miraflores Palace, in Caracas, during the closing of the CIAN, led by President Nicolás Maduro, Rodríguez stressed that this meeting “seeks not only to further strengthen our geopolitical ties at the bilateral and multilateral levels, mainly as we have discussed with the BRICS bloc, but also economic, commercial, financial and energy cooperation, all areas of national life”.
He highlighted that this 18th edition of the CIAN “has been a victory for our countries, a victory for Russia, a victory for Venezuela. 17 agreements signed to further deepen cooperation and give special impetus to scientific and technological cooperation, linked to productive processes in strategic areas of Venezuela.”
Rodríguez, who is co-president of the CIAN on the Venezuelan side, explained that alliances were established “to march together in an international economy free of hegemony, free of blockade and where brotherhood, friendship and cooperation are imposed.”
