As part of the celebration of World Tourism Day, a day was held in the country to clean the beaches, said the Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez.

Through a video posted on his Telegram channel, Rodríguez explained that this day was held by men and women, workers from the ministries of tourism and ecosocialism.

“We have to take care of the beaches. They are reservoirs, bionatural. Like the oceans, they are part of our oxygen, they are life for us. It is essential to take care of the oceans and also the economic activity that is generated around the beach and this important engine (tourism),” he said.

In this regard, he stressed that tourism is a “secret weapon” that Venezuela has to boost its economy. “Venezuelan. Nothing can stop our homeland. So, together with the Venezuelan people, triumphing with tourism in Venezuela,” he said.
