Delcy Rodríguez: The People are giving a genuine demonstration of what it is to defend the truth

The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, highlighted this Monday the strong response of the People in support of President Nicolás Maduro, in the face of the new aggressions of North American imperialism.

During his participation in the great anti-imperialist march, from Miranda state, Rodríguez pointed out that the population is raising their voice “against terrorism, against extremist violence, for peace and in support of President Nicolás Maduro.”

“All these expressions that we are seeing is a People without any distinction, it is a People that wants to work, it is a People that wants to progress, that wants to defend its right to the future and we know that all these constructs that the Venezuelan government, President Maduro, is accused of today, are interventionist constructs, because if we have to search, who are the leaders of terrorism? Noam Chomsky says that the world champion of terrorism is the United States (USA),” he stressed.

In this regard, he recalled that it has been the United States that has supported terrorist groups such as Al Qaeda or Isis, which “has provided them with weapons, infrastructure, then they wash their face, put a flux on it, and they turn out to be presidents of countries. So, we are living in an era of double standards, of double standards and the Venezuelan people today are giving the genuine demonstration of what it is to defend peace, they are giving the genuine demonstration of what it is to defend the truth,” he emphasized.
