More than 100 institutions have reported cyberattacks across the country by the right-wing extremist sector after learning the results of July 28, as reported by the Deputy Minister for Information and Communication Technologies Development, Raúl Hernández.

“We have identified this type of person or groups, with international interests that have been attacking all our web portals or our public administration systems, and we already have more than 100 institutions that have reported the attacks,” Hernández said during an interview with the Al Aire program broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).

He reported that these attacks by groups that generate violence in the country are financed through United States security agencies, such as the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) or large telecommunications corporations.

“We are articulated specialists to defend ourselves against all these types of attacks, fully active, connected 24 hours a day to defend ourselves against cyberattacks,” he said.
